Adventist Radio London Shares Uplifting Stories of Faith
Imagine that you have a rare condition that confines you to a wheelchair, but your dream is to travel around Europe. What would you do?
This was the case for Kevin Chandler, who told the story of his “journey as a human backpack” to Vanesa Pizutto on Adventist Radio London. Vanesa is a presenter and producer at this digital radio station, which is committed to promoting positive messages and exploring uplifting stories of faith. “One of the most amazing parts of my job is getting to hear the stories of people who have faced tragedy and pain with great courage and resilience,” Vanesa says.
Her colleague, Lynette Allcock, adds, “I love hearing stories of how people have encountered God in unexpected places. For example, I interviewed a young entrepreneur about his award-winning social enterprise Ubuntu Design Group, which works with underprivileged communities to create affordable, sustainable, and culturally appropriate housing. He shared the ups and downs of his amazing journey and how he has seen God in his life.”
Lynette hosts the Breakfast Show on Adventist Radio London, weekdays from 7-9am. Vanesa presents an inspirational show called “On the Go,” weekdays from 3-5pm.
